We are proud to share Dr. Iyer’s 40+ years of expertise in patient care and medical teaching with our visitors with the hope of enhancing scientific knowledge pertaining to various neurological disorders not only to our patients, but also to medical professionals and students.
The Patient Learning Center is geared toward educating patients about the tests we do in our center, such as nerve conduction and electromyography (NCV/EMG) studies, as well as nerve/muscle ultrasonography to provide insight into how they are performed and what diagnostic information they can provide. You will also find brief discussions on common disorders in which these tests are useful.
The Physician Learning Center is meant for medical students, residents, fellows, and medical professionals who wish to enhance or test their knowledge in the field of neurology in general and neuromuscular disorders in particular. The format is in the form clinical quizzes based on cases Dr. Iyer has seen over the past many years. There are more than 100 quizzes and presentations that may interest medical professionals of different specialties.
