The Neurodiagnostic Center provides diagnostic procedures for patients with neuromuscular disorders. The three commonly done procedures are nerve conduction velocity (NCV), electromyography (EMG), and ultrasonography of nerve and muscle. The tests are performed by Dr. Vasudeva Iyer, a neurologist, who has over 40 years of experience in this specialty.
Find information for scheduling and preparing for your appointment, download your registration forms, and find out what to do after your appointment.
The Patients section will help answer any questions you may have about EMG, NCV, and Ultrasound studies, what to expect, and the diagnoses typically associated with EMG and NCV studies. It is important to understand what an EMG/NCV study can and cannot tell you, as it is not appropriate for many diagnoses unrelated to specific neurological disorders.
The Physicians section the offers unlimited access to over 100 informative presentations and quizzes associated with EMG, NCV, and Ultrasound studies to test and expand your knowledge, and is also suitable for teaching purposes.
Physician's offices can find useful information about how to refer your patient, updated Covid-19 information as it relates to scheduling at our office, and forms for prospective patients.
